Part 1
Create a time line for Billy Pilgrim's life. Include at least 10 significant events in his life. The events you choose do not necessarily have to represent the entire life, rather, they may just represent a part of his life. For example, you may choose to only represent the optometrist part of his life. The main focus of this assignment is organization which means you must decide which events are important to be included in your time line. Also, format is important. You may choose whatever format you like as long as you find one that you feels best suits his life. Besides organization and format, you will also be grades on content, presentation, and creativity. This section of the assignment will be worth 25 points.

Part 2
Include with your time line 1-3 paragraphs explaining the effect Vonnegut's time frame has on the book and on the reader. How does it help to further his theme? Then write 3-6 paragraphs discussing this assignment and giving an analysis of your own work. Was it difficult? Why? How does your organizational style represent that of Vonnegut? What grade do you think you deserve on this assignment? Why? Have you learned anything from it? What?
Remember to answer all of these questions in paragraph format, not in Q and A format. This section of the assignment will be worth 25 points as well. This section will be graded on content, grammar, word choice, and organization.

This final assignment will be due at some point after we have finished the book. I advise that you at least begging thinking about it well before hand. Exact due date TBA.
